Why I Started 3 Questions Daily
(And How a Little Idea Became a Daily Habit That’s Changing Conversations)
I didn’t plan to start another Instagram account.
It happened like a lot of my projects do—somewhere between a random idea I scribbled on a sticky note and a quiet moment where I thought, Wait, what if this actually helps someone else too?
The idea came while my husband and I were winding down one night, both kind of checked out and scrolling on our phones. I remember thinking: We’re right next to each other but not really talking. Not about anything real, anyway.
So I wrote down three questions. Nothing too deep. Just enough to shift the energy. And it did shift. We went from tired and distracted to laughing, reflecting, and ending the night feeling more connected. So I did it again the next night. And the next.
Eventually, I realized… this wasn’t just for us.
As a chronic creator (read: I love turning ideas into things), I kept thinking about how simple but powerful it was—and how so many people crave deeper connection but don’t know where to start. Especially when life is full of deadlines, dishes, and dog hair.
So I opened up Canva (obviously), designed a few slides, and hit post.
That’s how 3 Questions Daily was born.
It wasn’t polished. I didn’t map out a launch strategy. I just created what I needed—and what I thought others might need too. A daily reminder that connection doesn’t have to be complicated. That relationships aren’t built in grand gestures, but in tiny, consistent moments of presence.
I wanted it to feel fun, warm, and human. Not like a workbook. Not like therapy. Just… approachable. Beautiful, even. Something people would want to save and ask out loud. Something that could live in your pocket and sneak its way into dinner conversations or car rides or late-night talks.
And now it’s grown into a daily ritual not just for me, but for couples, families, and friends who are using it to laugh more, learn more, and love better.
It’s scrappy. It’s simple. But it’s one of those “started with a nudge and turned into something bigger than me” kind of things.
Just the way I like it.
What 3 Questions Daily Is
It’s a daily Instagram account sharing 3 simple questions you can ask someone you care about—whether that’s your partner, your kid, your best friend, or your team at work.
Right now, the focus is on couples, with bonus posts for other relationship types each week.
The goal?
Better connection. Deeper conversations. More laughter and curiosity in your relationships.
What Makes It Different
There are a lot of question decks and conversation starters out there, but here’s what sets 3 Questions Daily apart:
It’s small on purpose
No overwhelm. No pressure. Just 3 questions a day to keep the conversation flowing. It’s thoughtfully designed
Each question is crafted to encourage reflection, honesty, and connection—without feeling like homework. It’s beautifully shareable
The posts are made for swiping, saving, and screenshotting—because good design makes things easier to use. It’s consistent
This isn’t a one-time game night activity. It’s a rhythm you can build into your life, one question at a time. It’s always evolving
As I learn what resonates with the community, I keep refining the questions and expanding the formats. (Think: couples, families, friendships, and more.)
This is one of those projects that started with heart and now has a heartbeat of its own.
If you’re craving deeper connection in your everyday life, I hope 3 Questions Daily gives you a simple, beautiful way to begin.
